Hello! I am providing you the answer "Why Stars twinkle in the sky at night time and why Planets not? "
Twinkling of Stars
Due to change in temperature, atmospheric conditions of earth is not uniform everywhere (⬅➡⬆⬇↗↘↙↖) at higher altitude it is optical rarer but near the earths surfae it is optically denser. So, light coming from stars undergoes refraction and near the earths surfae it bends towards normal. Due to the variation of Refractive Index the apparent position of stars keeps on changing. So, stars appearing twinkling.
Why Planets do not twinkle?
We know that planets are very closer to earth as compared to stars. So they appear bigger. They do not emit their own light and it is see due to falling of Sunlight.
Planet behave like extended source of light. So, they nalify the twinkling effect.
